Natural Stylist
Renee is a master braider and natural hair care stylist. She is a native New Yorker and has been an entrepreneur most of her life. Growing up in Brooklyn, she had the opportunity to work with Tulani Kinard of Tulani's Regal Movement. Renee moved onto recieving her cosmetology license from Hair Design Institue. She worked off of referals for 10 years in Mo' Better Braids; a business she founded, owned, mananged out of her basement. Her work has been featured in Black Hair and local magazines. She worked as a platform artist for several years. She also shared her talents in seminars, workshops and in classrooms as an instructor. In 2000, she moved to Maryland to start anew and opened her her salon in 2004. Her salon is 4 years young but has grown far beyond her expectations.
